Birmingham, AL – Territory Sales Manager

Our client, a privately held international industrial manufacturing company, is looking for a driven, high-energy Territory Sales Manager for their Central Alabama (covering N Alabama, N Mississippi, W Tennessee)territory. The company is a leader in their industry and very focused on innovation.

Job Duties:

  • Providing customers with informed technical assistance
  • Creating and delivering customized sales proposals
  • Communicating effectively with your inside sales team so your customers receive superior service
  • Prospecting for new business

Requirements:

  • Consultative selling experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with an industrial and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Must have a relatively high mechanical/technical understanding. (Will be selling to engineers)
  • Some sales experience preferred, willing to consider recent graduates

Base salary $55k plus competitive commission plan . Benefits program includes medical and dental insurance, 401(k) plan and paid time-off. Home office equipment is also provided as is a company car.
